Ellen Kushner is having a cover contest for The Privilege of the Sword, this is my entry to it. It took me about a week off and on (some days I was too tired from work to do anything other than sleep, other days I sat down, turned on Pandora, and worked for like five hours in one go.)

I really wanted to make Katherine’s shadow clearly be Richard’s shadow, but the picture was already busy enough and I couldn’t think of a graceful way to do so. :( Aside from that, I am pretty pleased with this (I HOPE THE AUTHOR IS TOO).
